Literary Magazine Folio Invites Submissions from College Undergraduates
Submissions include poetry, fiction, non-fiction, photography, and visual art.
Folio, the literary magazine of Holy Family University, is now accepting submissions of poetry, fiction, non-fiction, photography, and visual art from all college undergraduate writers and artists, beginning with its first issue on a newly redesigned digital platform.
Founded in 1959, Folio is one of Holy Family University’s oldest traditions dedicated to the artistic growth of the University. Previously dedicated to the works of Holy Family students alone, Folio is delighted to expand opportunities to undergraduate students from across the nation and across the globe. Folio will publish the very best from emerging undergraduate writers and artists, and will share the publication with global audiences as well as the writing and arts communities.
"Folio provides opportunities for undergraduate students to submit their work, receive professional feedback, and gain publication for their growing portfolios," said Keith Kopka, Ph.D., assistant professor of English at Holy Family University and one of the faculty advisors for Folio. "To expand this to a broader community of young writers and artists, Folio is seeking new voices and new perspectives, including those from traditionally marginalized and underrepresented communities."
More information about the upcoming magazine can be found at its website, http://www.foliomagazine.org.
Folio accepts submissions via Submittable. Please visit the submissions page at http://www.foliomagazine.org/submit for full submission instructions. The deadline for submissions for the Spring 2022 issue is February 15, 2022.
